As the International Firebird Book Awards founder, Pat connects with many authors and books. Although not a judge in the competition, she knows a quality book and what it takes to produce it.

By engaging with authors, she gained insight into the highs and lows of their publishing encounters. Whether traditional, hybrid, or self-published, each author had suggestions.
